Business Consultancy

You have built the business.Let’s work out what it needs next.

A full diary. Several promising ideas. The same decisions coming back around.

When you are busy keeping everything moving, it can be difficult to see what will actually move the business forward.

I help you examine what is happening, choose what deserves your attention and turn those decisions into practical work.

A full diary.
A head full of ideas.
What actually needs your attention?

Perhaps one of these sounds familiar.

01

You are busy, but the business is standing still.

There is plenty happening. You are less sure how much of it is helping you grow.

02

Your reputation is stronger than your online presence.

People who work with you understand your value. Your website, message or content has not caught up.

03

Too much comes back to you.

Decisions, delivery, follow-ups. You want the business to work without needing your attention at every turn.

04

You have several good ideas and no clear order.

You need to decide what to pursue, what to park and what deserves your time and money.

We start by working out what is happening and what would make a useful difference.

Where we can make a difference.

The work may focus on one part of the business or connect several. We agree the priorities around what you need.

01

Business growth & direction

What is worth doing next?

We look at your offers, pricing, sales activity and capacity to understand where progress is being held back and where there is room to grow.

Areas we may work on:

  • Reviewing your services and how they are priced.
  • Understanding where enquiries or sales are falling away.
  • Assessing a new offer, market or opportunity.
  • Choosing priorities and building a practical plan.

02

Brand, visibility & execution

Does the way you show up reflect the quality of your work?

Your website, content and marketing need to make it easier for the right people to understand your value and take the next step.

Areas we may work on:

  • Clarifying your positioning and message.
  • Planning website content and the visitor journey.
  • Directing your visual identity and creative materials.
  • Planning campaigns, launches and social content.
  • Coordinating agreed delivery support.

03

Leadership & ways of working

Does everything still need to come through you?

As a business develops, the way you lead it needs attention too. We look at decisions, expectations and responsibilities so that progress has a clearer structure.

Areas we may work on:

  • Making difficult or delayed decisions.
  • Clarifying roles and responsibilities.
  • Delegating and communicating expectations.
  • Improving planning, processes and follow-through.
  • Recognising habits that affect how you lead.

Bring me the business as it is.

You do not need a polished brief or a perfect explanation of the problem. We begin with what you are seeing, what you have tried and what you want to change.

  1. 01

    Look at what is happening.

We examine the relevant information, ask questions and identify where closer attention is needed.

  2. 02

    Decide what matters.

We weigh the options and agree what deserves attention now, what can wait and what needs to stop.

  3. 03

    Put the decisions to work.

We define the actions, responsibilities and support needed to move things forward.

I will bring an outside perspective, honest questions and practical direction.

What will we actually work on?

That depends on what the business needs. You may need a focused review, a clearer offer, a campaign plan or support bringing several parts of the business together.

Before we begin, your proposal will set out the work, the fee and who is responsible for what.

Your project, agreed.
  • The outcome we are working towards.
  • The work and deliverables included.
  • Who is responsible for each part.
  • The timing and level of support.

Some projects need a few focused conversations and a clear plan. Others need ongoing direction and agreed delivery support. The scope follows the need.

I understand the sale.
And the person responsible for making it happen.

I began life coaching in 2004 while working in corporate sales, coaching women during evenings and weekends. My sales career took me from trainee to Sales Director. In 2016, I moved fully into business coaching.

Today, I bring that commercial experience together with coaching, project management and business analysis.

That means I can help you examine the offer, the plan and the practical work, while paying attention to the decisions and conversations needed to carry it through.

Kind words

What clients say about the work.

It was clear from the start that Emergy is very experienced in what she does as she immediately picked up on several areas where I could improve things. She then went away and produced a Gap Analysis Report of her recommendations. The report is excellent.
